Listen!
When Almighty God speaks to creatures he has made, the only fitting response is to listen. In Deuteronomy 18, God warns his people to heed his voice and ignore the distractions of the world. We are not called to be better or try harder, but to repent and believe in the gospel. Jesus invites us to come to him, listen, and find rest. As we abide in Christ, his Spirit enables us to ignore the distracting voices of the world and cling to the hope found only in him.
