The Joys of Justification
In Romans 5, Paul reminds believers that because our sins were fully paid for through the death and resurrection of Christ, we can rejoice in the benefits of justification: peace, access, hope, love, assurance, and God himself. The blood of Jesus silences every accuser, both internal and external, and believers stand with Christ in a perpetual state of grace. Since God the Father already made the ultimate sacrifice on our behalf through the death of his Son, we can confidently trust that he will finish the work he began in us.
