Jesus: The Good Shepherd
Many people are familiar with the story of Jesus feeding the 5,000 recorded in Mark Chapter 6, but this well-known passage also teaches important truths about the Savior. In these verses, Jesus showed his compassion for His people and His willingness to care for them in the way that is perfectly suited to their circumstances. This is the Good Shepherd to whom all of Scripture points -- God Himself, the perfect provision for our need.
