I Am the Good Shepherd

Evening Service
Oct 9, 2022

In one of his "I am" statements, Jesus identifies himself as the Good Shepherd. This sermon on John 10 unpacks the key attributes of Jesus in that role. First, he cares deeply for his sheep - so much that he lays down his life for them. Second, he knows his sheep intimately and gathers them from a vast company. And through it all, Jesus willingly submits to the Father, an example we as Christians should try to emulate.
