A Hymn of Thanksgiving
Gratitude marks the lives of God’s people, especially as we remember how he turned his righteous anger away from us and placed it on Christ. Isaiah 12 shows that those who have received God’s salvation respond with trust, joy, and praise. Like water drawn from a desert well, God himself becomes our refreshment in weary places. Because his salvation brings ultimate satisfaction, we can face uncertainty without fear, knowing the Holy One is in our midst. This hymn of thanksgiving calls us to live with overflowing praise and draw daily from the life-giving well of God’s grace.
