How Firm a Foundation
When a church is built on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ, it is enabled to endure through seasons of change. In 1 Corinthians 3, Paul explains that kingdom building must be done consecutively, carefully, and confidently. Paul laid the foundation of the gospel, knowing others would build after him. We may plant or water, but only God produces growth. When we are anchored in Christ, our cornerstone, we are empowered to continue building with confidence for his kingdom.
