A Gospel Worthy Life — Part Two
The grace of Jesus transforms us and provides the strength to stand against the evil one as we strive side by side for the gospel. Even as they face oppression, Paul urges the Philippians to stand firm—not out of guilt or in their own effort, but from gospel-rooted gratitude. Remembering and recalling the grace of the gospel produces a divine gratitude that motivates believers to love, serve, and live for Jesus. The gospel does not produce spectators, but grace-enabled participants in the mission of God, for the sake of his kingdom.
