Faithful Living in a Foreign Land
As Christians, we are exiles in a foreign land—citizens of heaven waiting for our Savior to bring us home. How then do we live faithfully for the Lord in this foreign land? Like Daniel, we must ask ourselves, “Who am I going to be, and who am I going to serve?” All of life transpires under the loving hand of a sovereign God. It is only through the power of the Holy Spirit that we are able to resist the beckoning of secular culture and stand firm in our faith, as we remember that our Lord is King.
