Divine Motivation, Divine Inspiration
In Galatians, Paul defends the one true gospel against false teachers who sought to discredit both his ministry and his message. They accused him of inventing his own gospel and preaching to please people. Paul responds by declaring that his motivation is not self-serving but God-centered. The true gospel always directs glory away from self and points wholly to Christ. Because our acceptance rests in Christ alone, we are freed from the pursuit of human approval. This hope anchors us in grace—secure, loved, and sent to live for the glory of the One who first loved us.
