The Danger of a Half Learned Christ

Evening Service
May 14, 2017

Christians who are young in their faith, and sometimes those who aren't, may be tempted to doubt that Jesus is really all they need. In this message from Colossians 1, we learn that the Apostle Paul addressed this false teaching  by focusing on the Person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ: He is both supreme Lord of all creation and sufficient Lord of salvation. As believers hold fast to the faith as revealed in God's Word, we are protected from teachings that would draw us away from the truth of the Gospel.
