Christ, Supreme Over All
In his letter to the Colossian church, Paul provides a guide for living the Christian life and reminds believers what is most important—to remember and worship Jesus as Lord of all. When our minds are reoriented and enamored with who Christ is, we live different lives. Even though we were once hostile toward God and dead in our sins, Jesus, who is supreme over all of creation, intervened and reconciled us to God. The work of salvation is fully complete in Christ, and we can therefore rest in his finished work and live for his glory.
