Acceptable Worship — Part 1
Worship expresses itself through what we love. In the closing section of Hebrews, the author exhorts believers to worship God with acceptable sacrifices. Our worship finds its tangible expression in our love for others—namely, our ongoing love of fellow believers and our hospitality towards strangers. Furthermore, when we honor marriage and keep ourselves free from greed, we testify to the reality that we’re satisfied with God’s love and provision. Only Jesus can satisfy the deepest longings of our hearts.
