How Long O Lord?

Morning Service
Aug 6, 2017

Depression and despair often mark human experience, and Psalm 13 describes King David’s own struggle with overwhelming sorrow. When despair threatened to overtake him, David turned to God in honest and specific prayer and refused to let his circumstances determine his perspective. As we look back to the cross and forward to the day when Christ will return, hope produces joy grounded in the steadfast love of the Lord.

Psalm 13:1-6
