Pray also for them as they welcome the arrival of a new baby. Ask God to watch over their toddler son’s heart, mind, and health through all these changes. As they travel, pray for their safety. Qatar (Asia). Population: 3,115,889 Believers: 1.0%. Almost every Qatari follows Islam, whether they are from Arab, Persian, or Bantu (former slave) backgrounds. Pray that Qataris at home and abroad would hear about Jesus and for the birth of a Qatari Church. Pray for Christians to take employment opportunities (from manual labor to executive positions) to increase the presence of God’s kingdom in Qatar. The Parkside Membership Course is a three-week series that gives an overview of who we are and what we believe as a church. The course meets on the first three Sundays of each month, except for certain holiday Sundays. The classes do not need to be completed sequentially and you do not need to pre-register to attend. This is a great course for those looking to become members as well as those interested in finding out more about Parkside Church. The next series of classes begins Sunday, October 5th, at 10:30am in Room B208.
