Pray for the volunteers from several local churches to be empowered by the Holy Spirit to share the gospel in a clear and loving way. Continue to pray for their South Asian ministry at the University of Sydney, where they are seeing more students open to hearing stories about Jesus. Praise God for one student from a Hindu background who is now trusting in Jesus. Pray for protection and growth for her as she starts her journey of discipleship. Slovakia (Europe) Population: 5,474,881 Believers: 1.2%. Evangelical congregations are few and small. The growth of recent years has slowed, but there is a new desire to reach out and be more active in church planting. Pray for the quality of spiritual life and for fervor in evangelical churches. The Parkside Membership Course is a three-week series that gives an overview of who we are and what we believe as a church. The course meets on the first three Sundays of each month, except for certain holiday Sundays. The classes do not need to be completed sequentially and you do not need to pre-register to attend. This is a great course for those looking to become members as well as those interested in finding out more about Parkside Church. The next series of classes begins Sunday, October 5th, at 10:30am in Room B208.
