Pray that those in their Good News Kids ministry and youth group will understand the gospel message and grow as disciples of Jesus. As Pastor Mark Pratt continues preaching through the Gospel of Mark, pray that the church will understand the beauty of Christ’s work in their lives and respond. Seychelles (Africa) Population: 132,779 Believers: 5.9%. The vast majority of Seychellois claim to be Christian, but evidence of true spiritual transformation seems outweighed by superstition and nominalism. Pray that the Holy Spirit may bring new life evidenced by repentance and sustained fruit. Solomon Islands (Pacific) Population: 838,646 Believers: 33.3%. Ethnic diversity and a divided geography (six major island groups) create a divided society. These language and culture barriers also inhibit Christian work. Pray that Christianity may take root in each group in a relevant way and can overcome division. Pray for true forgiveness and reconciliation that come only through repentance. The Parkside Membership Course is a three-week series that gives an overview of who we are and what we believe as a church. The course meets on the first three Sundays of each month, except for certain holiday Sundays. The classes do not need to be completed sequentially and you do not need to pre-register to attend. This is a great course for those looking to become members as well as those interested in finding out more about Parkside Church.
