- Details: Ambassadors Football has not had a mission leadership meeting together since 2019—a time when the country leaders from over 30 countries come together with the senior leadership and board to pray and have fellowship together. Lord willing, they will do that from October 14 to 21 of 2024. Jon’s assistant, Rachel is going to Germany to work on plans for the conference. Please pray that all the details that God wants to happen will come together, including guest speakers, and that the Holy Spirit would be present and speak in and through those who are there in a profound way. Jon and Ruthie are grateful for Parkside Church’s support and prayer. Djibouti (Africa). Population: 1,136,455 Believers: 0.1%. Mission work is a challenge in this hot, dry, but often humid land, and working conditions are extreme. Physical and spiritual oppression, economic disparity, ethnic tensions, and a paucity of believers lead easily to discouragement and worker attrition. The Parkside Membership Course is a three-week series that gives an overview of who we are and what we believe as a church. The course meets on the first three Sundays of each month, except for certain holiday Sundays. The classes do not need to be completed sequentially and you do not need to pre-register to attend. This is a great course for those looking to become members as well as those interested in finding out more about Parkside Church. The next series of classes begins Sunday, October 5th, at 10:30am in Room B208.
