She still lives with her parents, who have an extensive number of idols in their home, but she has been reading through the Bible as much as possible to learn about the God who freed her. Pray that the Lord continues to draw her to himself. Thank God for doing for us all what we could not do for ourselves. Uruguay (South America). Population: 3,384,688 Believers: 6.2%. Uruguay has the most secular society in South America. Most Uruguayans follow a “do-it-yourself” spirituality influenced by New Age ideas. The nation is 55% Catholic (the lowest in Spanish-speaking Latin America), and only 2% attend mass. Afro-Brazilian Spiritism attracts many people. The Parkside Membership Course is a three-week series that gives an overview of who we are and what we believe as a church. The course meets on the first three Sundays of each month, except for certain holiday Sundays. The classes do not need to be completed sequentially and you do not need to pre-register to attend. This is a great course for those looking to become members as well as those interested in finding out more about Parkside Church.
