- Details: Ten mothers and their children are now living in Rothstein Village, the new transitional housing community at The City Mission. Each mom is taking bold steps toward self-sufficiency with renewed hope. Having graduated from Laura’s Home, these families receive an additional 18-24 months to access on-site services. Pray for the staff and volunteers as they serve Christ by caring for every person, knowing all are made in the image of God. Pray that the lives of the men at Crossroads and the women and children at Laura’s Home and Rothstein Village to be restored through the transforming power of God’s love. The steep decline of organized Christianity in the UK is almost unparalleled in Europe. The Parkside Membership Course is a three-week series that gives an overview of who we are and what we believe as a church. The course meets on the first three Sundays of each month, except for certain holiday Sundays. The classes do not need to be completed sequentially and you do not need to pre-register to attend. This is a great course for those looking to become members as well as those interested in finding out more about Parkside Church. The next series of classes begins Sunday, October 5th, at 10:30am in Room B208.
