Population: 11,346,000 Believers: 1.3%. Oil wealth transformed much of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from a poor, rural region to a haven and playground for the world’s ultra-rich. Now it branches out to business and finance, as well as tourism. While those at the top live with incredible wealth, millions of migrant laborers often work in terrible conditions for low pay. Injustice, human rights violations, and human trafficking are significant challenges. Pray for God’s compassion for the poor and downtrodden to be powerfully conveyed to all migrant laborers who endure oppressive conditions in the UAE. The Parkside Membership Course is a three-week series that gives an overview of who we are and what we believe as a church. The course meets on the first three Sundays of each month, except for certain holiday Sundays. The classes do not need to be completed sequentially and you do not need to pre-register to attend. This is a great course for those looking to become members as well as those interested in finding out more about Parkside Church.
