- Details: Pray for Westside’s community groups as they continue studying Romans together. Pray for the church’s involvement with International Friendships as they care for students living far from home; with Building Hope in the City as they develop relationships with immigrants in the Cleveland area; and with the Cleveland Pregnancy Center as they provide help to moms in need. Pray for their missionaries working with a minority language group to advance the gospel in all languages. Pray for the safety of Ryan and Samantha S. as they seek to share the gospel with Somalian refugees in Africa. Continue to pray for the health of Nathanael Wiles. Ukraine (Europe). Population: 38,980,377 Believers: 3.8%. The Russian invasion of 2022, Russian support of the breakaway republics of Donetsk and Luhansk, the occupation of the Crimea and the Euromaidan of 2014, and the Orange Revolution of 2004-5 all demonstrate Russia’s determination to dominate Ukraine. They also equally demonstrate Ukraine’s determination to be free. Millions of Ukrainians have been displaced, and hundreds of thousands have been killed. Whenever the conflict ends—and on whatever terms it ends—rebuilding from the devastation will take years, or even decades. Pray for the intervention of the God who makes wars cease to the ends of the earth and who breaks the bow and shatters the spear (Psalm 46:9). The Parkside Membership Course is a three-week series that gives an overview of who we are and what we believe as a church. The course meets on the first three Sundays of each month, except for certain holiday Sundays. The classes do not need to be completed sequentially and you do not need to pre-register to attend. This is a great course for those looking to become members as well as those interested in finding out more about Parkside Church. The next series of classes begins Sunday, October 5th, at 10:30am in Room B208.
