- Details: Shoreline Church, United States This season brings many opportunities for Shoreline to reach their local community. They are thankful for the results of their donation drive for both the Lake Country Free Clinic and Mentor Cardinals Closet, which is in the Mentor schools. Through the generosity of their congregation, needed items were donated to both organizations. Pray for the continued success of this outreach and for their ‘Give A Christmas Blessing Project.’ The Painesville Free Clinic, Hannah’s Home, and the Painesville Family Resource Center provided them with the names of children in need. Through the giving of Shoreline’s congregation, kids will receive Christmas gifts for their families. Pray for those receiving the gifts and for the volunteers who participate. Shoreline is hosting a gingerbread bash for their congregation. Pray for the fellowship that will take place at this event. Austria (Europe). Population: 8,977,139 Believers: 0.5%. Austria, a nation of culture, music, art, and beautiful scenery, lies for the most part spiritually empty. While 84% of Austrians believe in God (high for Europe), few have met Jesus personally. Rates of suicide, abortion, and alcoholism indicate the great need for spiritual foundations. Pray for the shell of religion in this nation to be filled by the living presence of Christ. The Parkside Membership Course is a three-week series that gives an overview of who we are and what we believe as a church. The course meets on the first three Sundays of each month, except for certain holiday Sundays. The classes do not need to be completed sequentially and you do not need to pre-register to attend. This is a great course for those looking to become members as well as those interested in finding out more about Parkside Church. The next series of classes begins Sunday, October 5th, at 10:30am in Room B208.
