- Details: Parkside Church Westside, United States On December 10 and 13, over 100 Lakewood families in need will be gifted with stockings filled with small gifts. In addition, these families will receive gift cards to purchase gifts for their children and groceries for the holidays. Please pray that the volunteers involved with the Christmas Store will shine the light of Jesus to these families in need. Continue to pray for Westside’s community groups as they study Romans together. Pray for the church’s involvement with International Friendships as they care for students living far from home; with Building Hope in the City as they develop relationships with immigrants in the Cleveland area; and with the Cleveland Pregnancy Center as they provide help to moms in need. Pray for their missionaries working with a minority language group to advance the gospel in all languages. Pray for the safety of Ryan and Samantha S. as they seek to share the gospel with Somalian refugees in Africa. Continue to pray for the health of Nathanael Wiles. Armenia (Asia). Population: 2,777,979 Believers: 8.7%. Armenia was the world’s first Christian nation, with a Christian legacy of more than 1,700 years. Praise God for the survival of the Armenian church through the centuries, despite frequent and harsh oppression. The Parkside Membership Course is a three-week series that gives an overview of who we are and what we believe as a church. The course meets on the first three Sundays of each month, except for certain holiday Sundays. The classes do not need to be completed sequentially and you do not need to pre-register to attend. This is a great course for those looking to become members as well as those interested in finding out more about Parkside Church. The next series of classes begins Sunday, October 5th, at 10:30am in Room B208.
