Amid the political chaos there, a new soccer field has been built in partnership with a local church. The turf was made available when new turf was installed in the Ambassadors’ arena in Macedonia, OH. They were able to ship the used turf down there and reuse it. The rocky, dirt field that the kids played on has been replaced by the “new” turf field. It was a joy to see the kids flood the church's complex to come play soccer, hear the gospel, and hopefully, return for church services and get connected to the local church. Pray for Lucasse, the Haiti director, as he seeks to use this field for God's glory. Central African Republic (CAR) (Africa). Population: 5,513,282 Believers: 32.3%. The CAR was one of the world’s most evangelized nations, but the upheavals here and in nearby Chad and Sudan mean the progress in some regions has reversed. Muslims grew rapidly in influence, especially in the cities. Few Christians feel equipped to reach out to them. Pray for all CAR denominations to send students for missionary training. The Parkside Membership Course is a three-week series that gives an overview of who we are and what we believe as a church. The course meets on the first three Sundays of each month, except for certain holiday Sundays. The classes do not need to be completed sequentially and you do not need to pre-register to attend. This is a great course for those looking to become members as well as those interested in finding out more about Parkside Church.
