- Details: E & J, North Africa E and a friend started meeting with Lucas and Isaac for mutual encouragement and discipleship. Pray that God will raise godly men to serve him in North Africa. Praise the Lord for answers to prayer for schooling for their son in first grade—kind teacher, small class size, kind classmates, ability to understand, and fun. Pray they will meet more parents and kids from the neighborhood during pickup and drop-off times. Continue to pray for favor with authorities to restore the residency of their team, clearing the way for business development in the region. Burkina Faso (Africa). Population: 24,074,580 Believers: 8.9%. The spirit world is very real in Burkina Faso, where as the saying goes, the population is “50% Muslim, 20% Christian, and 100% animist!” Few countries in West Africa are more dominated by idolatry, fetishism, and secret societies. Pray for the risen Christ to demonstrate his power and set many free. The Parkside Membership Course is a three-week series that gives an overview of who we are and what we believe as a church. The course meets on the first three Sundays of each month, except for certain holiday Sundays. The classes do not need to be completed sequentially and you do not need to pre-register to attend. This is a great course for those looking to become members as well as those interested in finding out more about Parkside Church. The next series of classes begins Sunday, October 5th, at 10:30am in Room B208.
