Pray for protection and wisdom as he grows in faith and faces challenges in discipleship. Thank God that Blake was able to find a Bible in his heart language, Marathi—the only copy left at the Christian bookstore. Praise God for “Dinner and a Story.” They continue to see the Lord use this gathering to draw Hindu students who are curious about Jesus. One student who regularly attends asked for a copy of the Bible and expressed interest in learning about Christianity. Pray for continued growth among their students and volunteers in the ministry at the University of New South Wales and for God’s direction as they take steps toward becoming an officially recognized student club on campus. Pray for their family that the Lord would bring healing to Emily and that Nathaniel would know he is safe and loved at school. Belarus (Europe). Population: 8,997,603 Believers: 1.3%. Evangelical Christians are increasing despite concerted opposition and intensifying persecution. The state steadfastly maintains laws that forbid meeting in homes for worship, forming congregations of less than 20 people, opening religious schools, ministering outside of the home city, and importing and distributing non-state-approved literature. The Parkside Membership Course is a three-week series that gives an overview of who we are and what we believe as a church. The course meets on the first three Sundays of each month, except for certain holiday Sundays. The classes do not need to be completed sequentially and you do not need to pre-register to attend. This is a great course for those looking to become members as well as those interested in finding out more about Parkside Church. The next series of classes begins Sunday, October 5th, at 10:30am in Room B208.
