As we continue to pray about our church family’s future, we are grateful for God’s guidance as He continues to provide us with opportunities for these relationships that reach far beyond our immediate geographical reach.

It’s been quite a while since I’ve been this excited about a theology book, or a book of applied theology. But I hope that tons of folks read Fred Sanders’s new book, The Deep Things of God: How the Trinity Changes Everything. It is an incredibly important book.

  • Ministry Profile: Faithful Friends, Jr.

John Lane beams as he displays a photo on his iPhone of an impeccable drawing of the Walt Disney World logo that his 11-year-old son, Ethan, drew from memory on a white board, a medium that most of us can't even write legibly on. "He is extremely talented," notes Jim Croyts, who, along with his wife Char, founded the Faithful Friends, Jr. ministry in 2007. "He loves Disney. Initially, he would take Play-Doh and roll it into the tiniest little things and form it into the logo letters with amazing detail, and a lot of times he's just doing it from memory!"
