Annual Meeting & Annual Report

We invite each member and attender to join us for the upcoming Annual Meeting on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at 7pm during the evening worship service. This meeting is intended to fulfill a legal requirement as a non-profit organization in the state of Ohio and there will be a brief acknowledgment of the financial report. Our focus will be on important matters related to the future of Parkside.

Help Make Parking Smoother
On Sunday Mornings (beginning Oct. 28) the center entrance to the parking lot will be closed. Use the East (right) entrance for arriving and departing to Rt. 306. Use the West (left) entrance for arriving and departing to Rt. 43. Thanks!

Basic Christianity - Fall 2012

Basic Christianity, an eight-week course that explores the essentials of the Christian faith, will begin on October 7. This course focuses on the basic tenets of the Christian faith and offers a clear explanation of what the Bible teaches.

Parents Date Night

PDN offers free childcare for parents to give them a night away from their parental duties to enjoy a “Date Night” dinner, movie, or quiet afternoon at home. Our hope is that it will also give parents the opportunity to go on a double-date to build relationships with other couples for encouragement or evangelism by inviting friends, neighbors, or coworkers with kids to take advantage of childcare. Children will enjoy playtime on the inflatables, crafts, dinner, and a movie.

Managing Your Money: A Four-Week Series

A four-week workshop on effective money management will begin Tuesday, Oct. 2 and run through Oct. 23. The group will meet 7:15-8:45 pm each week.
Topics include: the basics of money, how to manage debt, saving for the future, managing cash flow, money personalities and good stewardship.
