The mission is simple: to see unbelieving children become committed followers of Jesus Christ. We recognize it is the Lord who changes hearts, and yet, we must do our part to plant biblical truth into young lives. On Sunday mornings and evenings, we have hundreds of children who participate in children’s ministry while parents attend worship and LIFE groups. We are looking for teens and adults who love the Lord Jesus and desire for children to come to know and love Him.

Sunday Mornings: Our ministry to children ages 2-5th grade is called Kids QUEST. Children are shown Christ’s love and learn God’s Word at age-appropriate levels in a traditional classroom setting with consistent teachers and helpers who serve weekly at either the 9:45 or 11:15 service (September-July). Imagine being a five-year-old who comes to Sunday School and sees the same smiling faces each week!

For 2015-16, we have these staffing needs on Sunday mornings:

• 9:45am—18 helpers
• 11:15am—1 preschool teacher, 2 elementary teachers, 7 helpers

Sunday Evenings: Our ministry to children ages 3-5th grade is called Mission Kids. Mission Kids seeks to help children know and love Jesus and go and tell others. We have two teams, and team members serve September-July, 3 weeks on/3 weeks off. This allows each team to complete 3-week units of Bible & Missions content.

For 2015-16, we have these staffing needs on Sunday evenings:

• 3 large group teachers, 15 helpers

How do you know if Sunday Children’s Ministry is a good fit?
Can you play a guitar or sing songs?  Do you enjoy playing games or putting puzzles together? Are you able to complete colorful crafts or set out snacks? Can you creatively tell a story or befriend a sad or lonely child?  If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then you can have a part in instructing and guiding children to walk in the truth!
