The 2014 “Helping Others Change” course will be offered over two Saturdays this winter:  February 1 and 22 from 9am-3pm.

This course is a follow up to "How People Change" and builds upon the foundational principles taught in that course. "Helping Others Change" focuses on learning how God can use you to help people grow in their relationship with Him. Using the "Love-Know-Speak-Do" model, we train believers to come alongside those who are hurting and struggling to be used as an instrument in the Redeemer's hands.

This course is required for all those who are interested in lay counseling at Parkside Church.  However, anyone involved in ministry whether as a LIFE Group leader or Bible study facilitator would be encouraged to take this course. This course is also open to the public. "How People Change" is a pre-requisite.

The format for this class is 10 sessions spread over two Saturdays (five sessions each day from 9 am - 3pm). Scholarships are available for those who are not able to cover the cost of the training. Register online at parksidechurch.com/hoc.
