GEO Kids 2025-26 Restart Update

Our GEO Kids ministry is for children in grades 1-5. We have delayed our start and have tentatively planned to begin meeting on January 8, 2026. Here are a few additional notes and updates:
  • GEO Kids meets two Thursdays per month from 7:00-8:15pm.
  • GEO Kids is a parent-led ministry, which means we rely on the parents of participating children to be our small group leaders. Small groups are divided up by grades and genders (Ex: 1st grade boys, 1st grade girls, 2nd grade boys, etc.). Parents may ask to lead their child's small group or may be asked to lead a grade where we have a need (even if their child isn't in that particular grade).
  • What do small group leaders do? You will pair up with another adult to lead a group of 5-12 children for each meeting. You will get to know your kids and have a great time building relationships with them and helping them form friendships with each other! At each GEO meeting, there is fellowship time (just hanging out with the kids), lesson time (a simple lesson that does not require much prep), and game or craft time. At the end of each meeting, we have a 10-15 minute large group time where we review that night's Bible theme, practice our memory verse, and sing songs.
  • We need 8 male leaders and 7 female leaders to restart GEO Kids on January 8. Please email us to let us know you are interested in being a group leader, and we would be happy to answer any questions you have.
We hope to open online registration for GEO Kids in November, and the cost for the partial year will be $20 (scholarships available). A calendar of meeting dates and events will be available in the registration confirmation.

Though GEO Kids won't start until 2026, save these dates for special FALL events!

  • Girls' Game Night | November 7, 6:30-8:30pm
  • Boys' Game Night | November 21, 6:30-8:30pm

Both events will take place at our off-site location called The Warehouse. These events are for mom/girls and dad/boys (no drop-offs, please) and are for children in Kdg-grade 5. Registration for these events will open at the end of October on our website, and the cost is $5/person (max $20/family). Invite friends to come!
