James Family August 2017 Prayer & Praise
• Pray for the many new ESI (Equipping Servants Internship) groups starting this month in Santa Cruz, Bolivia and Temuco, Chile and Bogota, Colombia.
• Pray for the ESI “Fundamentos” pastors conferences in La Paz, Bolivia (August 17-19) and Santa Cruz (August 20-22) on the topic of Evangelism from the Gospel of Mark. We are expecting over 500 at those 2 conferences.
• Pray for the over 1000 active Equipping Servants Internship (ESI) participants in Bolivia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Uruguay and Chile. Pray for the 1625 total graduates since 2002. Pray that each pastor and church/ministry leader will grow in their desire to honor Christ by being true to His Scriptures, thinking, living and serving Biblically, to strengthen and mobilize the church around Latin America to disciple believers and reach the least reached with the gospel of Christ so that no one will live or die without hearing the Good News of Jesus.
• Pray for God’s supply for the 2000 ESI Pastor-Book-Sets needed between now and 2022 to start ESI in 5 new Latin American countries in the next 5 years in our effort to place Pastor Book Sets in the hands of pastors and church leaders around Latin America – and then to train these trainers to effectively use the materials.
• Pray that ESI participants will grow in their love for Jesus with a growing commitment to live on the basis of Christ’s righteousness in obedience to God’s Word.
• Pray for pastor Tomas Diaz as he works with 5 groups of ESI pastors in Loja, and expands ESI into Guayaquil, Ecuador
• Pray for pastor Edwin Callejas as he works with 4 groups of ESI pastors in Huánuco, Peru, and oversees two ESI groups in Cajamarca.
• Pray for pastor Pepe Rocha that God will give him passion for Christ in his pastoral ministry in the ILC Church in La Paz, Bolivia.
• Pray for Sami and Heather (children Ethan, Shae) developing a ministry of Biblical counseling in churches in La Paz.
• Pray for Katie as she works as a nurse at the Cleveland Clinic and reaches out to students from different countries sharing the good news of Jesus with them.
• Pray for Andrew and Angie (children Nicole, Camille, Zack) as they build friendships with believers and unbelieving people in Uruguay that God would allow them to plant a strong gospel church in Montevideo.
