We realize and understand that life here on earth is oftentimes hard and difficult because of sin and suffering. From the complex nature of addictions to the depths of depression, we know life apart from Christ and His Word can be difficult to navigate and understand. As fellow strugglers and pilgrims, we desire to come alongside you in the midst of your troubles and share the good news of Christ with you. We want to listen, love and share our lives with you in a way that brings hope to despair and light to darkness.
For those going through the daily struggles of sin and suffering, we offer individual counseling with a Parkside-trained counselor. We also offer periodic equipping seminars, along with marriage workshops and topic-specific conferences.

The late G. K. Chesterton famously wrote over eighty years ago, "These are the days when the Christian is expected to praise every creed except his own." How true his words are for us today! As culture has embraced homosexuality and same-sex relationships, many Christians feel pressured to re-evaluate their beliefs and embrace a more inclusive posture in order to be tolerant and loving. What exactly does the Bible say about homosexuality and same-sex relationships? Can we trust in God's word to guide and shape how we think about this issue? How can believers who hold to a traditional view of sexuality maintain their convictions with compassion, yet without compromise?
Join us on March 1 with Pastor Jonathan Holmes to understand this important issue from a biblical perspective and to equip you for wise and compassionate conversations.
The workshop will be held at Parkside Church main campus in The Venue from 6:30-9pm. There is no charge but a reservation is requested. Childcare is not provided for this event.
