Praise for our Equipping Servants “Fundamentos 2016” pastors conferences in August in Santa Cruz and La Paz, Bolivia, and in Huanuco, Peru. Pastor Alex Donnelly taught from the book of Ruth.

• Pray for Jonathan Holmes as he comes to La Paz to teach 300 pastors on the foundations of Biblical Counseling the weekend of September 23.

• Pray for our ESI team and the SIM La Paz team as we send an exploratory team Sept 25-30 to the Bolivian jungle town of Rurrenebaque to see how we can train and encourage Tacana Indian church leaders who are seeking our help.

• Pray for the 750 active Equipping Servants participants in Bolivia, Ecuador, Mexico, and Peru, and for the 1550 total graduates since 2002, that each church/ministry leader will grow in their desire to honor Christ by being true to His Scriptures discipling believers and reaching the lost with the gospel.

• Pray for the Equipping Servants team starting groups in Uruguay. Pray as we train key pastors from Bogota, Colombia and Cajamarca, Peru in October and November. Pray that we will help church leaders study, teach and preach God’s Word so they can more effectively disciple believers and mobilize the church to reach the least-reached of Latin America -- so that no one will live or die without hearing the Good News of Jesus.

• Pray for God’s supply for the 2500 Pastor Book Sets needed between now and 2020 to open Equipping Servants in 5 new Latin American countries in the next 5 years in our effort to place Pastor Book Sets in the hands of pastors and church leaders around Latin America and Africa – and train them in the use of these materials.

• Pray that Equipping Servants participants will grow in their love for Jesus with a growing commitment to live on the basis of Christ’s righteousness in obedience to God’s Word.

• Pray for pastor Tomas Diaz as he works with 5 groups of Equipping Servants pastors in Loja, Ecuador. God is using the study of Romans to impact many lives and churches in southern Ecuador.

• Pray for pastor Edwin Callejas as he works with 4 groups of Equipping Servants pastors in Huánuco, Peru.

• Pray for pastor Pepe Rocha that God will help him in his passion for Christ in his pastoral ministry in the ILC Church in La Paz, Bolivia.

• Pray for pastor Edgar Mamani, pastoring the IBM church and training PA volunteers.

• Pray for pastor Javier Soliz that God will guide and grant wisdom as he trains pastors in 6 Equipping Servants groups, and works to plant a new church in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and trains 3 PA volunteers.

• Pray for pastor Freddy Choque leading 4 Equipping Servants ministry in the city of El Alto, Bolivia.

• Pray for Sami and Heather as they develop a ministry of Biblical counseling in churches in La Paz. Praise for the growth of their two year old son, Ethan! And for the birth of Shae in August.

• Pray for Katie, working as a nurse at the Cleveland Clinic and serving God where she is.

• Pray for Andrew and Angie (children Nicole, Camille, Zack). Pray for Andrew finishing his second year at Parkside church as a Missionary-In-Training. Pray for them as they plan to leave for Uruguay with SIM in October to plant churches.
