* Please continue to pray for Byron and the LAMP ministry in Guatemala, that many would hear and respond to God’s Word.

* Also, please pray for our (Wes’ and Nancy’s) ongoing health issues, especially my (Nancy’s) mitral valve surgery on May 9th, and that Wes’ Parkinson’s disease would stay stable. God has been very faithful and blessed us in so many ways even in the midst of these issues.

* Byron and the Mam ministry group are very grateful and thankful for Parkside’s continued support of Mam Scriptures among the believers.

* Please pray for Nancy as she has a heart cath tomorrow to evaluate how to handle the mitral valve prolapse surgery. She has an appointment with the surgeon on the 25th of this month.

Pray for Byron,a young-ish Mam middle-aged man in Guatemala who has dedicated his life to translation of the Bible into his own language. He is working on details for finishing the publication of the Mam Bible. It is a source of pride for the Mam believers and for the community as well. Pray that the community senses the blessing of this step forward in faith and literacy.

*Please pray for my youngest brother, Miller, who is very depressed, going through radiation for prostate cancer and who has a son who died.

*Please pray for Byron, the village ministry, and the increase in numbers of Indian people getting involved in supporting the literacy program.

*Praise God for this time of year when we are focused on the birth of His Son and what He’s done for us eternally.
