How Can I Help?

Prepare a Dinner Box

Collect the items listed and drop them off in Storage Room 111 across from Fellowship Hall on or before Friday, Nov. 21.

Load the Truck

Strong backs are needed Saturday morning, Nov. 22, to help load dinner boxes into trucks at Parkside at 8am sharp!  Please call Tracy if you can help with this stage (330.562.0721).

Help Distribute the Meals

Join us on Saturday, Nov. 22, from 10am-12pm, at Scranton Road Bible Church for the distribution. No need to call just meet us at Scranton.

Buy a Turkey

You can also make a contribution to help cover the cost of the $10 turkeys. Please write “Box Project” on the memo line of your check and drop it in the offering plate.  Please do not put it in your dinner box.

What’s a Dinner Box?

A Dinner Box Includes:

1 muffin or roll mix

2 cans of vegetables

1 can of fruit

1 large box of instant potatoes

1 large can of yams

1 large box of stuffing mix

1 package of Jell-O or pudding mix

1 dessert mix (cake, frosting, cookies, pies)

1 jar/can of pickles or olives

1 can cranberry sauce

1 jar/mix/can of gravy

1 turkey roasting bag or foil

1 disposable turkey roasting pan (Please keep separate for delivery.) 

Other Items are Welcome:

Coffee, tea, candies, soup, jellies, sugar, nuts, flour, crackers, cereals, canned meats, peanut butter, tissues, toothpaste and toiletries.

Note:

• Include only non-perishable food items. Sorry, NO homemade canned goods.

• Place items in a closeable box.

• Please leave the box open and do not tape it shut.

Directions to Scranton Road Bible Church:

3095 Scranton Road, Cleveland, OH 44113  

Take 480 (east or west) to 176 North. Travel on 176 North approximately 2.25 miles to the West 14th Street exit and go north. When you get to Clark Avenue (about .4 mile), turn left. In about .5 mile you will arrive at Scranton Road. Scranton Road Bible Church will be on the corner.
