Details: God - Jehovah Jireh has faithfully provided for Alternaterm in the past. They pray that He will continue to provide for this ministry in the future. Pray for their staff, volunteers and board, since there have been a lot of volunteers facing challenging health issues. Pray that the Lord will strengthen their relationships with the community, with local churches and that He will add new monthly donors to sustain the ministry. China. The growth of the Church in China is one of the most decisive events of our generation. The window of opportunity may not be open forever and China faces a battle with materialism as its’ wealth increases. In addition, the debilitating effects of spreading corruption, moral decline and the growing social and economic impact of the one-child policy, all threaten the continued growth of the Church. Pray that the Refiner’s fire might keep burning and that the Church’s spiritual cutting edge- honed in the midst of persecution- might not be blunted. China remains politically oppressive and is wracked with corruption. Pray for God’s Sovereign hand to work in and through the Chinese government; pray that all forms of wickedness may be opposed, that kindness be shown to the oppressed and that justice and prosperity for all be the goals of China’s economic and foreign policies.
