Details: Pray that Equipping Servants participants will grow in their love for Jesus with a growing commitment to live on the basis of Christ’s righteousness in obedience to God’s Word. Two groups with 30 participants started in Montevideo, Uruguay and they plan to start another one in April. Pray for Pastors Jaime and Sebastian from Bogota, Colombia who plan to start ESI in February. Pray for three pastors in Cajamarca and Tarapoto, Peru who plan to start ESI groups in February. Pray for the 850 active Equipping Servants participants in Bolivia, Ecuador, Mexico, and Peru, and for the 1625 total graduates since 2002, that each church/ministry leader will grow in their desire to honor Christ by being true to His Scriptures. Pray for God’s supply for the 2000 Pastor Book Sets needed between now and 2020 to open Equipping Servants in three new Latin American countries in the next four years in their effort to place Pastor Book Sets in the hands of pastors and church leaders around Latin America – training the trainers to effectively use these materials. Pray for Pastor Tomas Diaz as he works with five groups of ESI pastors in Loja, Ecuador. God is using the study of Romans to impact many lives and churches in southern Ecuador. Pray for Pastor Edwin Callejas as he works with four ESI groups in Huánuco, Peru. Pray for Pastor Freddy Choque leading two ESI ministries in the city of El Alto, Bolivia. Pray for Pastor Javier Soliz that God will guide and grant wisdom as he trains pastors in six Equipping Servants groups. Lebanon. Trained leadership in evangelical churches is a precious resource. The decline in foreign missionaries and the emigration of national leaders has left many congregations without effective pastoral care. Despite this, Lebanon has a good number of evangelical Bible schools. Pray for staff members, the supply of needs and for more students. Pray that increasing cooperation among these colleges would result in significant advances for the Kingdom.
