Details: The new face of homelessness in Cleveland is a mother with children. Last year Laura’s Home was forced to say no over 17,000 heartbreaking times to single women and moms with kids because all of their available space was filled. Please pray for the Lord to raise-up others to join their task force for advancing permanent change. Praise the Lord for Haven Home Emergency Overflow, as well as Elizabeth Baptist Church helping with this crisis and being an outlet for community donations to get to the homeless. Please pray for City Mission’s work with inmates and their families that the gospel will bring healing, hope, and forgiveness. The roadblocks to a stable life after prison are difficult, but City Mission’s prayer and efforts are that the gospel will empower men and women to be positive members of society in their life after incarceration. Bangladesh. Religious discrimination is rising. Islamists, while a small minority, exert increasing pressure for governance by shari’a principles. Christians, Buddhists and especially Hindus suffer as persecution intensifies, occasionally to the point of destruction of property and sometimes even death. Pray for binding of the powers of darkness operating in religious, social, and ethnic realms. Pray also that the constitutional freedom allowing all to practice and propagate their own religions might be maintained.
