Hearing Ears or Hardened Hearts?

Evening Service
Jan 21, 2018

As the Word is preached, it will fall either on hearing ears or hardened hearts. In this study of the Parable of the Sower, the various forms of an unbelieving heart are compared to the receptive heart, where God’s Word takes root and bears fruit. Like the sower, who casts seeds broadly, Christians are to share the Gospel liberally without worrying about the receptivity of the listener because it is God alone who saves.
