Details: Praise God for the Klosterneuburg Church Retreat in August. The church was excited that all of the teens in the Children´s home were allowed to come and the staff person from the home ended up being the Director of the home. She told Brenda again that every time Brenda along with the church comes to celebrate the kids´ birthdays they notice that the children change, even in the midst of doing fun and active activities. Pray for their visit to the Children´s home for the birthday party at the end of September. Some of the teens at the home are starting new and very hard schools. If students want to go to college, the students have to graduate from these schools. Please pray for Brenda as she begins setting up mentoring appointments with women in Vienna and Klosterneuburg this month. Pray also for the start of Jonathan´s, Raphaela´s and Brenda’s evangelistic Bible study. Pray that God sends those people that are seeking Him. Continue to pray that David and Daniel (Brenda’s sons) find jobs. Punjab (India). The Sikh religion with its unique doctrines and culture has spread to many parts of India and beyond. There are up to 25 million Sikhs in the world. Little specific Christian study of and dialogue with Sikhs has ever been undertaken. The Mazbahi, Jat, Ramdasias, and Rai – all castes of Sikhs – are more responsive to the gospel. A number of agencies and indigenous churches are now reaching out. Praise God for the several Christian leaders from the Sikh community now actively professing and proclaiming the good news in Punjab and abroad.
