Details: Pray for the Nathanael Church and their pastor, Sebastian, who continues to endure much criticism from a couple in their church. Pray that this couple will end their personal attacks and that they will repent of their attitudes and stop their rumour-mongering. Praise God that the elders are fully supportive of their pastor. Pray that the elders will respond with wisdom and gentleness and not do anything in word or deed that would escalate this difficult situation. Pray that their pastor will be refreshed as he and his family begin their summer holidays on June 25th. Pray for all the families in their church and especially those of the elders, that each would enjoy a restorative and relaxing summer break. Pray for K. and K. in the village church and for their continued physical health and difficult family situation (aging parents). Pray that the members of the village church would learn to rely on Jesus to grow their church. Pray that they would depend more on prayer and the Word of God both collectively and as individuals. Gansu Province (province of China). The Gansu Province needs leaders with training, especially due to the rise of a number of marginal sects. The Dongxiang and Bonan are of mixed Mongolian background and are strongly Muslim. The Muslim Hui, despite very little outreach to them, have a growing number of believers scattered across China. The Tibetan people are largely Lamaistic Buddhists with one church.
