If you've been attending :transit: for any length of time, you've probably met friend of :transit: and local entertainer Jon Klein. If you're brand new to our club, then at the very least, you probably had a fabulous time attending the :transit: Harvest Fest party he recently hosted in his home.

Anyway, Jon makes movies. It's kind of his thing.

While many of us would be happy to come home from a day at work and unwind by watching a movie, Jon Klein wants to MAKE the movie, and this is great news for us.

On the evening of December 2nd, at the first ever :transit: movie night, we'll be showing the latest, feature-length film from Get The Pix, Jon's production company. It's called "The Tale of the Sparrow," and you are welcome to see it with us, free of charge.

What sort of movie is it, you ask?

Without spoiling anything about the plot, we could tell you about how "Sparrow" is an action comedy, substantially stocked with both comedy and action, yet also interwoven with some thought-provoking spiritual undertones.

We could mention how the intriguing, neo-noir stylized storyline is cleverly punctuated by an impressive array of both digital and practical special effects, and a classic sense of timing.

Depending on how long you've been in town, we might even try to reel you in by noting that you may catch a few friends and local heroes in the cast and cameo appearances.

But instead, we're happy to let the trailer speak for itself.

After the show, we'll have a brief time of interviewing director Klein about life, film, and faith. Won't you join us at :transit: next week, as we wander around inside the living room of the mind of Jon Klein, and sink into the couch for awhile. See you there!
