  • What happened to the old NIV Bibles?

    At our Annual Meeting on October 30 we announced a new resource for us as a church, the English Standard Version Bible. You can read more at this blog posting>

    Some individuals took up the opportunity to donate a copy of their old NIV and we agreed to coordinate the details and pass them along to those who would benefit from the Bibles. In addition to the Bibles donated we also boxed up the pew Bibles from both the Bainbridge and Green campuses.

  • Book Recommendation: How the Gospel Brings Us All the Way Home

    In How the Gospel Brings Us All the Way Home, Dr. Derek W. H. Thomas explores Romans 8, which he calls “the best chapter in the Bible.” Here he finds an exposition of the steps through which God leads His people in the process of their salvation, but also loving counsel on such topics as prayer and resisting the Devil, as well as exhortations and comforts for weary pilgrims.

  • Thanksgiving Sunday Schedule

    Sunday Services

    There is an amended schedule on Thanksgiving Sunday (Nov. 27). We will have our typical morning services at 8:30am, 9:45am, and 11:15am but there will be no evening service. There will be childcare (birth-K) but no other classes or life groups in the morning.

  • Christmas Concert Nursery Workers

    As an outreach to our guests and families with young children, we are providing nursery for children birth-35 months of age at all three of our 7 pm concerts on December 9-11.  We must staff a minimum of 10 adults each evening.  Teens are welcome to serve in remaining spots.

  • Lake County Church Plant: Info Meeting

    Establishing regional churches is an integral part of our vision for Building into the Next Generation. We are pursuing a church plant in Lake County, OH. This will be under the leadership of Scott Kennedy, one of the members of our Bainbridge pastoral team.

  • Go Out Into the World

    “It’s kind of funny that I’m a MIT,” laughs Chris Harrington, who is Parkside’s newest extension of the pastoral team as a Missionary in Training, a.k.a. MIT. “I’ve always considered myself a sender, not a goer, but two years ago, I started feeling a tug and a pull to get into ministry, and more specifically, missions.”

  • Alistair's Sabbatical

    In January, February and March of 2012 Pastor Alistair Begg will be on sabbatical for a time of rejuvenation and refreshment. Please be in prayer for both Alistair and those on the pastoral team who will be caring for the preaching responsibilities in his absence.
