High School Winter Retreat 2018
Location: Camp Mission Meadows, NY

What is the Winter Retreat? Think Real Retreat and Sno’Frenzy packed into one weekend. We’ll spend focused time learning about spiritual disciplines but add in some winter games and a worship band.
When is the Winter Retreat? We’ll meet at The Warehouse at 9:00am on Saturday March 10, 2018 and return to The Warehouse on Sunday March 11, 2018 at 7:30pm.
Where is the Winter Retreat? We’re back at Camp Mission Meadows in New York! There they have heated cabins, an indoor gym and chapel, and depending on temperatures, a frozen lake to play on.
Who should go to the Winter Retreat? Any student in grades 9-12 are invited to attend.
Why go to the Winter Retreat? “Three seemingly unremarkable principles shape and strengthen the Christian life: listening to God’s voice, speaking to him in prayer, and joining together with his people as the church. Though often viewed as normal and routine, the everyday ‘habits of grace’ we cultivate give us access to these God-designed channels through which his love and power flow—including the greatest joy of all: knowing and enjoying Jesus.” –Habits of Grace, David Mathis Together we will look at these three principles and learn practical ways to implement habits of grace into our everyday lives in order to grow in our relationship with Christ.
What does the Winter Retreat cost? $100 – this covers 4 meals, snacks, camp use and lodging, and weekend materials including a book

What should I pack for the Winter Retreat?
- Sleeping bag and pillow – pack both of these in a large trash bag and write your name on a piece of tape on the outside of the bag
- Towel and toiletries
- Warm clothes for 2 days and pajamas
- Bible and pen
- Snow boots, pants, jacket, gloves, hat, scarf, etc.
- Completed Camp Waiver
