The Parkside Insider: November 18, 2022
In the past six months, we have been delighted to welcome 30 brand new, baby Parksiders....

That's a lot of babies! Each Sunday, our nursery teams provide care for babies and young toddlers, allowing parents to attend morning and evening services. This safe and loving care for the littlest ones at Parkside means that we need to adequately staff our nursery teams. To do this, we need your help.

As we look to 2023, we are seeking: 
  • 80 new people for our morning teams
  • 25 new people for our evening teams
Adding these new volunteers will allow us to care for additional babies, and also open a fifth nursery room for older toddlers. 

Will you prayerfully join us?
Nursery teams serve at one service, approximately once a month, from January-December 2023. Being part of a team is an easy way to get connected through service and a wonderful way to meet new people and encourage our young families. Your service on Sundays is a true blessing to our young parents!

The apostle Paul urgently warned others about the Lord’s wrath and preached the gospel of salvation. In his letter to the Romans, in particular, he was clear that all are sinners, with no exceptions, no excuses, and no escape from judgment except through faith in Jesus. Noting that Paul’s explanation of our predicament remains relevant today, Alistair Begg explains that the sobering reality of God’s wrath is matched by the wonder of his provision. Our Creator doesn’t hide from us, nor does he change. Rather, he seeks us and offers peace in a chaotic world.

Volunteer Opportunity
 
Tomorrow, November 19, we will distribute the Thanksgiving Boxes to our neighbors in the Scranton Road community. If you are able to join us by meeting at Scranton Road Bible Church, we can still use volunteer help. No need to call, just meet inside the church at 10am for instructions.
