Decoding Dementia & Alzheimer’s Disease Dinner

The Sojourners & Caregiver’s Support ministries are hosting a catered dinner in the Parkside Church Fellowship Hall on Friday, April 25 at 6:00pm, followed by an informational presentation by David Fox, MD.  

Dr. Fox is a Parkside member and specialist in the areas of Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. He will discuss the symptoms and stages of the disease, treatment, and prevention. 

 

About Our Speaker:

David Fox, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has a private psychiatry practice in Cleveland, OH. He is Medical Director of The Behavioral Center For Older Adults, University Hospitals Parma Medical Center and specializes in the treatment of geriatric mental health issues including dementia and mood disorders.

Dr. Fox is a member of the Professional Advisory Board for The Alzheimer’s Association of Cleveland and a speaker for the Alzheimer’s Association community education programs.

He provides a spectrum of clinical services including inpatient hospital treatment, office-based outpatient services, psychiatric consultation-liaison on Medical/Surgical services at University Hospitals Parma Medical Center and Nursing Home Consultations to seven area facilities.

Dr. Fox is also the Treasurer of the Medical Executive Board at University Hospitals Parma Medical Center.
