Warning and Hope

Evening Service
May 4, 2014

Zechariah 5 records a message of warning and encouragement to God's people who had returned from exile, reminding them that all of their circumstances should be viewed in light of God's greater purposes.  Rupert Bentley-Smith unpacks the powerful imagery in this passage and points us to two truths that are foundational to a Biblical view of life.  God's Word is powerful to confront and condemn our sin, and it is both terrifying and life-giving when it does so.  The same God who speaks powerfully has dealt completely with sin through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Zechariah 5:1-11
