A Task Unfinished
In the Great Commission, Jesus calls each of His followers to action when He says, “Go therefore and make disciples.” It’s not a recommendation, and it’s not a suggestion. If we believe that all authority on heaven and earth has been given to Jesus, then we will respond to His command with obedience. Everyone is under the jurisdiction of Christ, but it is the Christian’s responsibility to go to all the world with the Gospel, trusting God’s promise to be with us always.
