Swallowing the Lie
The fall of man is a well known story, yet there is much to learn by revisiting this familiar account. The great lie told by Satan in the garden is the same lie he continues to spread today– that there is something outside of God’s command that will liberate us. Adam and Eve believed this lie set up by the Serpent, but in the end it resulted in their shame. In this sermon listeners are reminded that the only one who can cover the shame of our sin is Christ who crushed the power of Satan through His death on the cross.
